Magic Grapes

Dernière mise à jour : 3 sept. 2023

Reread ‘’The Fox and the Grapes’’ by Jean de La Fontaine.

A Certain hungry Fox, of Gascon breed (Or Norman—but the difference is small), Discovered, looking very ripe indeed, Some Grapes that hung upon an orchard-wall. Striving to clamber up and seize the prey, He found the fruit was not within his power; "Well, well," he muttered, as he walked away, "It′s my conviction that those Grapes are sour." The Fox did wisely to accept his lot; ′Twas better than complaining, was it not?

You do have a soft spot for your colleague Marta... Unfortunately you are convinced she will never love you back. You’ve got better than abusing her all day long! Try our magic grapes!

Just put one in your mouth and you’ll see... Thanks to our biologists, you’ll be able to get the best of yourself! We know you can’t help it...

You have a good nose for a bargain: no sooner do you taste this delicious GMO, your usual torrent of abuse at her will turn into compliments.

She will first close the door of her office to your face, but soon enough she will turn bright red (with pleasure, of course)... What’s going on here? She is French and she was about to give you a punch on your nose (se casser le nez is not that pleasant, is it?), she’s now wondering if you’re not drunk... In vino veritas...You don’t have any coup dans le nez but you’re so eloquent that you manage to get her to the restaurant with you.

We know you are used to getting up her nose, but stop lying like Pinocchio, and be a natural Cyrano de Bergerac. Try our magic grapes!

Of course, as they can’t stop poking their nose in other people’s business, your (sweet) colleagues will think yours deserves to be red.

If you’re not satisfied with our product, we compensate you with French wine. (Drink! You do wisely to accept your lot. It’s better than complaining, isn’t it?)
